For the purposes of Data Protection, ‘we/us/our’ refers to Rainforest Appreciation Artists (‘RAA’) and specifically to the two founder members of Rainforest Appreciation Artists, namely Judy Hinchliffe and Patrycja Kos.
We do not store or share your personal data. If you wish to submit a competition entry form or submit artwork, we ask you to send an email to judy@raauk.org. If you send us an email for this reason, or for any other reason, we would respectfully ask you not to include any personal information other than your name (and your age if you are under 16).
Please do not provide your address. Please do feel free, however, to provide your mobile number or any other contact number, if you wish to do so. We will contact you by this number, if necessary and appropriate, concerning the matter about which you contacted us. In relation to “Because”, your mobile number will be shared with Kath Wright of CollaborARTi, co-creator of the project, for the purposes of organising the competition and exhibition(s). We will not share your contact number with any other party or for any other reason.
In sending an email to us, you are consenting to our use of that email address to respond to you regarding the subject matter of your email.
If you send us an entry form by email, in relation to the “Because” competition, we will take this as permission to respond to you and to contact you in future, by email, about matters specifically relating to the competition – for example, to notify you if your competition entry has been shortlisted or if your artwork/craftwork has been selected to be featured in the 2022 calendar.
Should you wish to stop receiving emails at any point, you can unsubscribe by sending us an email with the word “Unsubscribe” in the subject line of the email.
Please note that if you unsubscribe from emails about the competition before the winners have been announced, your entry may be withdrawn from the competition, unless you authorise us to contact you by means of an alternative form of communication.
